End-of-year troubles

Do you not feel like the traditional end-of-year period? And why is that so for you? There are people who consciously choose to be alone during the Christmas season. Some like it and for others it is choosing between two evils. Those who have unwanted lonely holidays do not feel comfortable. Very understandable, but there are other options …

You often hear that many people feel there are so many OBLIGATIONS during the holidays. Or that it is always so cozy everywhere (just look at facebook) while it feels so different for them themselves. They find this time of the year depressing and wonder “why does nobody agree with me?”

For me personally the darkness and the cold are a particular concern. Partly for that reason I have been in Thailand and India for study during the winter months in recent years. Combing the useful with the necessary pleasant sunshine. But this year the study was shorter and earlier, and I was already back on December 5th.

Do you dread the gourmet, gift hunting, in-law or family troubles, fancy end-of-year parties, Christmas sweaters and other headache causes? Or is being alone what you dread the most, while you’d prefer to sit with someone under a blanket by the Christmas tree?

What is your prospect for the coming weeks? What are your end-of-year rituals?

Do you want to give your own interpretation to your Christmas, New Year’s Eve and the days around it? My practice is open in the upcoming weeks and you are very welcome. There is time for individual sessions and there are a number of group activities where you are most welcome, just as you are.

  • on Tue 7 Jan participate in the first Awakin Circle of 2020
